有位在家居士問(wèn)智藏禪師:‘請(qǐng)問(wèn)老師,有沒(méi)有天堂地獄?'
‘有啊!'
‘請(qǐng)問(wèn)有沒(méi)有佛和菩薩?'
‘有啊!'
‘請(qǐng)問(wèn)有沒(méi)有因果報(bào)應(yīng)?'
‘有啊!'
不管你問(wèn)什么,智藏禪師都答:‘有啊!有啊!'
這位居士聽(tīng)后,懷疑起來(lái),就說(shuō):‘老師,您說(shuō)錯(cuò)了。'
‘我怎么說(shuō)錯(cuò)了呢?'
‘我問(wèn)徑山禪師,他都說(shuō)"無(wú)"。'
‘怎么說(shuō)"無(wú)"?'
‘我問(wèn)他有沒(méi)有因果報(bào)應(yīng),他說(shuō)無(wú);再問(wèn)他有沒(méi)有佛菩薩,他說(shuō)無(wú);我問(wèn)他有沒(méi)有天堂地獄,他說(shuō)無(wú),可是你為什么卻說(shuō)有呢?'
智藏禪師了解到這位居士的根性,終于道:‘哦!原來(lái)如此,我問(wèn)你,你有老婆嗎?'
‘有。'
‘你有兒女嗎?'
‘有。'
‘你有金銀財(cái)寶嗎?'
‘有。'
‘徑山禪師有老婆嗎?'
‘沒(méi)有。'
‘徑山禪師有兒女嗎?'
‘沒(méi)有。'
‘徑山禪師有金銀財(cái)寶嗎?'
‘沒(méi)有。'
‘所以徑山禪師對(duì)你說(shuō)"無(wú)",我跟你說(shuō)"有",因?yàn)槟阌欣掀艃号。?
